My job as a counselling psychologist and psychotherapist is to attune and collaborate. I help people shine a light on burdensome ideas and beliefs and experiences that lower self-esteem. Today's social contexts are stressful. I help clients reduce self-criticism that narrows their horizon for cultivating interpersonal trust, self-confidence and resilience.
I am a good listener. I have been through many challenges myself. I am not perfect. I like and want to help people. I see people as very much influenced by culture and some of what we take on proves stressful. I believe people have a profound capacity for change. I like motivating people to believe that we are worthy of happy and positive life experiences.
