In my practice, I work in a way that is guided by the person who comes into the room and their presenting needs. It is a confidential, non-judgmental and safe space for you to explore your life experiences and unresolved feelings more deeply. The approach I use is called humanistic and integrative which means I draw on humanistic, psychodynamic and other relevant theories in our work together. While this all sounds very fancy, the essence of what this means to me is that we will work together in whatever way suits you as a client, in the hope that you will begin to deepen your awareness of the unconscious parts of yourself.
My aim is to provide a therapeutic relationship that is safe, where you will be listened to and supported. I will accompany you to the places you haven’t been able to visit within yourself before and support you as you build up your own resources, awareness and self-compassion so you are better equipped to make positive changes in your life.
I work with a broad range of issues that include anxiety, depression, relationship and sexual issues, grief and loss, childhood trauma, stress management, sexuality, personal development and much more.
