Many adult survivors of narcissistic abuse experience feelings of isolation, hyper-vigilance, confusion, low self-esteem, fear of failure, and worthlessness. Whether you were raised by a narcissistic parent or were in a relationship with someone who has NPD personality disorder, I am here to work with you to resolve these issues.
I am a registered member of both the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and the British Psychological Society (BPS), Division of Counselling Psychology (DCoP). I hold an MSc in Psychology and certificates in CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Mind-Body Medicine. In addition to my psychology credentials, I am also a Certified Mayo Clinic Wellness Coach.
If you have suffered from narcissistic abuse, psychotherapy (also known as talking therapy) is one of the most effective treatments for this kind of trauma. Other therapies, such as EMDR and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, can also be helpful in aiding you to process the abuse and reconstruct your sense of self and identity.
