Hi, my name is Edel, an Accredited (IACP) Counsellor and Psychotherapist.I provide a Safe space for client relationship, supporting,nourishing connection, allowing a client to be seen and heard in a non-judgemental way. The struggle of life experiences may bring a person to counselling.I work with people who are experiencing Anxiety, Abuse Depression, Low self-Esteem, Bereavement & loss,Relationship issues, work issues, Trauma, Sexual Identity and more...The struggle of difficult and painful emotions can keep a person stuck in a place in life knowing it’s not where they wanted to end up and helpless about how to get out.
My approach, I work in a humanistic and integrative way. What this means, I work with a blend of therapeutic approaches to help a client gain resources and skills to support self through awareness, insights and healing the emotional pain of trauma and suffering, a journey in building a stronger feeling of well being.
I believe that each person can heal & grow after the most painful Trauma or loss. I help you learn more about beliefs, behaviours, thoughts,emotions and gain understandings on how to live a more fulfilled life.
