I apply a person centred, integrative, holistic approach. I aim to create a safe, non judgemental space where an individual can discuss their challenges and explore new perspectives, solutions and goals. We all have a unique history, and that history can impact our present day life. Therefore, if we feel stressed , stuck, lost or empty, it is a cue that our emotional world needs tending to. This involves compassionate inquirey, empathy and empowering an individual on their journey from environmental support to self support. Safe in the knowledge that we all need a little extra help and guidance at times in our lives.
BA Hons in Counselling & Psychotherapy, Post Grad in Gambling Addiction. Considerable experience working in both General mental health and addiction. Am currently working part time in an addiction treatment centre and provide private practice ( 1 to 1 counselling) one day a week, in Limerick city & Castletroy.
I get that it takes courage to make the call to any Therapist, it is the hardest step, yet the most courageous. It also shows u care about ur well being and deep down feel things could be better.
