I believe in the clients’ ability to heal themselves and for the human potential to grow and change to be their best possible self. I see the therapeutic relationship as one which is co-created where the client is given a safe space to be themselves. While some life transitions may not always need support, I am keen to guide clients through whatever life challenges may bring them. My approach is a deeply sensitive, empathic, and compassionate way of being with clients. I believe a gentle, non-judgmental approach helps the client trust in the process of therapy through the supporting presence of a kind, listening heart.
I have worked with a broad client base, which has included working with anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, meaning-making, loss, abuse, suicidal ideation. Those who have experienced life transitions, health issues, accidents. Trauma; including PTSD and Complex PTSD, abuse, relationship issues. I have worked with Women’s groups, students, elders.
Whatever stage of life you may find yourself at this time, you are not alone. Reach out if you feel you need to talk. It was the best thing I did for myself. We as humans have the capacity to heal and this can happen by reaching out to another and finding a way home to ourselves. "To be beautiful means to be yourself" Thich Nhat Hahn
