Hello! My name is Dean Byrne, and I'm a psychotherapist currently working in Portlaoise. I was trained as an integrative therapist, which means I can adapt my approach to the needs of each individual client. My personal approach looks to build a relationship with the client where they feel comfortable sharing in. a safe, non-judgemental space, and this is achieved by allowing the client to feel respected and heard. The thought of therapy can be a scary one, but with a good, collaborative relationship between the counsellor and client, that fear will hopefully be replaced by the rewarding feeling of positive change.
