My task is to help you to achieve better mental health through a therapeutic relationship based on empathy and understanding, with no judgement and no pressure. Each life story is unique and each psychological journey can be profound in meaning and worth. I am here to listen, to provide a safe and welcoming space, and to accompany you on that journey. Using a variety of psychotherapeutic techniques and skills, I will try to support you with each step that you take and each new insight you discover.
My training is in humanistic and integrative psychotherapy. This covers a wide range of psychotherapeutic techniques, drawn from modalities such as Gestalt therapy, psychoanalysis, existential psychotherapy, person-centred therapy, attachment theory and more. I also draw from a rich history of philosophical teachings on the mysteries and meanings of life.
I am happy to work with a wide variety of the personal issues, needs and goals that emerge in each life story. Exploring some of these can be difficult and take time; I will walk with you at your own pace as you journey inwards. Above all, I will strive to offer you a therapeutic relationship founded on empathy, acceptance and psychological insight.
