I am a humanistic, person-centred therapist and I belive passionately in this model of psychotherapy. It emphasises the power you have in changing your own life. When I sit with someone in a calm, non-judgemental environment and listen to a person's story, fresh perspectives emerge. By taking the time to tease out your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, you can begin to make sense of life and your place in the world. Such personal work is not always easy. Coming to terms with our deepest feelings can be painful and upsetting. It can also be a huge relief and release, a coming to terms with our true authentic selves.
