Welcome to Next Step Therapy, an experienced and friendly therapy practice in the heart of Dublin. Our clinical services are: counselling and psychotherapy, addiction assessment and treatment, EMDR for PTSD and complex trauma. I see my therapy room as a sacred space where people can explore things they usually don’t talk about. I approach therapy with an attentive reverence and an attitude of kindness and compassion. The process of therapy is to offer a safe place to explore and name and then change, or accept, these thoughts, attitudes, feelings, moods or behaviours and to experience someone who listens and supports.

There are many reasons why you might be considering therapy. You may be feeling overwhelmed, unhappy distressed, troubled and unable to cope. You may be feeling anxious, suffering with social anxiety and/or generally worried about your current situation, your future or both. You may be having problems in your relationships or grieving the loss of someone close. You may be struggling with an addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling or pornography. You may just want to talk and be listened to and that is okay. Whatever your reasons we are here to help.

Our physical and mental well-being are interlinked. At times we may feel our worries and anxieties are dictating the way we live our lives. At times we find ourselves not able to enjoy things that we used to and get no sense of achievement in activities that we do. Do you want to make changes, but you have no idea on how to begin.
