I am an integrated/solution focused Counsellor and Psychotherapist, drawing on theories of Personal Centred, CBT and Psychodynamics. I am a pre accredited member of the IACP and have studied through the Pci College for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I provide a safe and confidential space to support people going through a difficult time within their life such as grief and loss, sexual violence and abuse, addiction, relationships and family problems, self-harming or suicidal thoughts.
I have a wide range of experience in the supportive field throughout the last 10years. I have previously volunteered as a caller support for the Samaritans. I have supported people in early recovery from addiction after treatment in a centre. Presently I volunteer as a counsellor in a sexual abuse centre, while having my own private practice in Carlow.
