Contact Via WhatsApp/Email. My focuses are relationships, eating disorders, & addiction. In both our relationships with self and others, most long to experience love, belonging & growth. In relationships and in hardships, I see infinite potential for transformation and evolution: through the stuck places, the old patterns, the failed attempts to connect or feel safe. Underneath, the true you is waiting to be heard through the surface ‘symptoms’. If you can recognise where you’re at, you’re halfway there — and rather than just treating the symptoms, together we listen to what’s underneath, and help you to get free from the root.

When we are suffering we tend to look at all that is wrong in our lives. We sometimes make judgements and assumptions about ourselves or our situations that focus mainly on the negative. We each have developed ways of being in the world that have enabled us to cope with whatever challenges we have had to face. These coping strategies become our defence mechanisms and are often developed by us at an early age when we had few resources. They can sometimes create negative patterns of relating to others and the world around us and become barriers to intimate or professional relationships.

It's hard to make the first contact when starting therapy. For some people, this can be nerve wrecking, terrifying, especially if you're experiencing anxiety. I value the importance of building a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship, where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. Within this space, only when you feel safe with me, I will encourage exploration, self-reflection, and the development of healthier ways of relating to oneself and others. Sessions with me will be kind, at your pace, in some sessions there might be tears, and in some might be laughter, you will be accepted, however you are.

I hold a real respect for the courage it takes to engage in therapy. My work draws on my experience of over 20 yrs in Mental Health, as well as my professional training. I use both to support clients as they explore the complexities of their lives and the possibilities ahead. I am experienced as a psychodynamic psychotherapist. A key difference from more symptom-focused models is that psychodynamic therapy assumes meaning beneath symptoms. Anxiety, depression, anger, even procrastination — these aren’t just problems to eliminate but communications to understand. Change can happen quickly when someone gains a clear insight to 'why'

My main specialism is in working with LGBTQ+ identity, as well as neurodivergence (eg: Autism, ADHD, etc.), while also bringing expertise in sexuality, intimacy, kink, polyamory, and ethical non-monogamy.
In a few words, I identify as autistic, non-binary, queer, a video game fanatic, and occasionally an alternative drag/cabaret performer. My approach in counselling is guided by the idea that the main healing factor in any therapeutic process is the attunement between the counsellor and the client. I strive to be honest and authentic in my practice, while maintaining healthy boundaries, and I understand that the best counsellor for you is the one that is on the same wavelength as you, the one that just intuitively feels right.

Sex Therapy Therapists
Who is sex therapy for?
Sex problems are common in relationships. Many people want a better sex life and want to feel loved and desired by their partner. It is difficult for couples to resolve sexual problems on their own because people often feel ashamed to talk about their sexual desires fearing they are not normal, when in fact a very broad range of preferences and behaviors are normal. A sex therapist can help clarify this and other matters.
Why do people need sex therapy?
Many people do not know how to talk about their erotic needs or their emotional needs, both of which are addressed in sex therapy. Couples often live with sexual difficulties for years before seeking help, and in that time, partners may experience so much disappointment and alienation that they may fear their problems mean they are incompatible. Once people experience disappointment, it is difficult to find resolution without help.
What happens in sex therapy?
People have many misconceptions about what takes place in sex therapy. First, it is a form of talk therapy in which partners discuss their sexual concerns; it does not involve touching or physical exploration of any kind. Sex therapy typically helps couples get comfortable talking to each other about sex so that, in the privacy of their home life, they can openly discuss their sexual desires and make decisions about what they want to do. Couples are typically assigned activities to do at home that build intimacy skills.
What kinds of problems do sex therapists treat?
Very often, partners differ in their degree of sexual desire and struggle over how often to have sex. Or they may have fights about porn use or have difficulty connecting sexually after one partner is unfaithful. Men may have problems with premature ejaculation. Women may find themselves struggling to become aroused or to achieve an orgasm. Sometimes partners feel like they have lost the sense of attraction to their partner. These are all common issues dealt with in sex therapy.
