Hello & welcome to my profile. I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the PSI (M12836C) and Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC (PYL31683). I offer confidential psychological therapy in person & online. There are a multitude of issues and concerns that may prompt any person, of any background, in any situation, to seek out a Psychologist. These may include experiences of helplessness, feelings of distress, confusion, or stagnation personally or professionally. Often, people feel stuck and unable to address their difficulties alone; this helplessness is a universal human trait, however, it can be lessened through therapy.

My areas of interest include anxiety and depression, relationship and intimacy issues, low self-esteem, stress and overthinking, recovering from narcissistic abuse/ relationships, life change/transitions, LGBTQ+ issues, men’s issues, addiction, spirituality/self-growth and trauma.
If you’ve found your way here, you might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where we can explore what’s happening and find a way forward together. With over eight years of clinical experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting many people through different challenges, helping them build strength, clarity, and a more fulfilling life. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I studied philosophy and religions, completing a doctorate. This shapes my interest in the questions of meaning and identity. I put strong emphasis on practical applications of therapy in life.

I offer individual and couples counselling sessions online worldwide and also outdoor nature therapy sessions in person in Co.
I work from a body based psychotherapeutic approach, addressing trauma held within the body and working with the attachment patterns that cause life-long psychobiological symptoms and interpersonal difficulties. I believe that early, unconscious patterns of disconnection deeply affect our identity, emotions, physiology, behavior and relationships.

To me, the relationship between me and my client is absolutely key to the healing process.
Feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious? Sometimes the demands of modern life can make us feel out of control. When we are suffering, we tend to look at all that is wrong in our lives. We can lose confidence and make judgements and assumptions about ourselves or our situations that focus mainly on the negative. The coping strategies we adopted in childhood can become our defensive mechanisms in adulthood and we can often find ourselves repeating old patterns of behaviour that don't work but we don't know how to find a way to break the cycle.

For me, physical symptoms were the gateway into healing. My body was telling me something I couldn’t yet put into words, and learning to listen to that felt sense changed everything. I see psychosomatic symptoms not as weakness, but as the body’s remarkable way of coping with overwhelming pain. Those patterns are signs of strength—strategies that once protected you, even if now they may feel limiting.

Therapy varies and each session may require something different. I work primarily in a trauma informed, person-centred manner. As each client is different, I may also work from a CBT, Mindfulness or with psychoeducation. This varies depending on the client's needs.

I support clients with anxiety, depression, low mood, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, relationship difficulties, addiction, eating disorders, OCD, co-dependency, ADHD, and more, helping you heal and create lasting change.
I know how difficult it is to want things to be different yet still feel stuck in the same patterns. I understand the weight of anxiety, the overwhelm, and the fear that maybe nothing can change. If you’re feeling that way, you are not alone and you do not have to carry it by yourself anymore. This is where things can begin to change. Psychotherapy offers a gentle space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface and to slowly untangle the thoughts and feelings that keep you stuck. My hope is to join you in that process, to listen, to support, and to help you create real, meaningful, long-lasting change.
