I work with adults who feel stuck, drained or quietly overwhelmed even if life looks 'fine' on the outside. You may notice patterns like overgiving, overthinking or being hard on yourself, often shaped by earlier experiences. In our work, I help you slow things down, make sense of what's driving these patterns and develop a steadier more compassionate way of relating to yourself, so you can move forward with more clarity and ease.

I’m a humanistic-integrative psychotherapist! This means that I don’t align myself with one type of practice, I work with the client to find an intervention that will suit their goals and needs. I have a MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy and a BA in Psychological Studies. Clients tend to see results within a month, depending on the severity of the issues at hand, which are then sustained after.

”There’s nothing human that is alien to me. If it’s human, it’s mentionable and if it’s mentionable, it’s manageable.." As an integrative therapist, I’m so incredibly passionate about working with young people and relationships. Be it the relationship with oneself, romantic, familial or platonic; I’ve had the honour of supporting clients overcoming their mountains. Experiences of grief, anxiety, loss of identity, relationship issues, confidence, depression, burnout, familial/peer conflict, uncertainty and confusion… Whatever your mountain, and its uniqueness to you; there’s none so small, or none too tall, that you cannot bring.

Welcome to Inner Power therapy, where individuals, families and children with a variety of emotional, behavioural and social needs are supported. My background involves working with young people with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions in an educational setting. Here, I developed a strong understanding of behaviour, communication, and the importance of tailored interventions. This proved invaluable when transitioning into psychotherapy. My progression reflects a deepened commitment to helping others, expanding from direct support in educational settings to offering therapy aimed at emotional healing and growth.

I apply a person centred, integrative, holistic approach. I aim to create a safe, non judgemental space where an individual can discuss their challenges and explore new perspectives, solutions and goals. We all have a unique history, and that history can impact our present day life. Therefore, if we feel stressed , stuck, lost or empty, it is a cue that our emotional world needs tending to. This involves compassionate inquirey, empathy and empowering an individual on their journey from environmental support to self support. Safe in the knowledge that we all need a little extra help and guidance at times in our lives.

Feeling trapped in a painful 'push-pull' cycle? One of you constantly seeks closeness, while the other needs space, leaving you both feeling lonely and misunderstood. These predictable patterns are often driven by our attachment styles, creating a dynamic that feels strangely familiar yet difficult to break. I help individuals and couples move beyond managing symptoms to understand and change this dance. Together, we can decode your pattern, heal its roots, and build a secure, loving connection. The goal is not to change who you are, but to help you relate to each other in a new way fostering security, intimacy, and mutual support

I offer a safe, supportive, neuroaffirmative space where you can explore your inner narratives and reconnect with a more fulfilling, authentic life. As an integrative therapist, I holistically blend a number of modalities tailored to each client, with experience in somatic work, sexual therapy, IFS, ACT, and mindfulness-based therapy.
Contact Via WhatsApp/Email. My focuses are relationships, eating disorders, & addiction. In both our relationships with self and others, most long to experience love, belonging & growth. In relationships and in hardships, I see infinite potential for transformation and evolution: through the stuck places, the old patterns, the failed attempts to connect or feel safe. Underneath, the true you is waiting to be heard through the surface ‘symptoms’. If you can recognise where you’re at, you’re halfway there — and rather than just treating the symptoms, together we listen to what’s underneath, and help you to get free from the root.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Counsellors
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
