Contact Via WhatsApp/Email. My focuses are relationships, eating disorders, & addiction. In both our relationships with self and others, most long to experience love, belonging & growth. In relationships and in hardships, I see infinite potential for transformation and evolution: through the stuck places, the old patterns, the failed attempts to connect or feel safe. Underneath, the true you is waiting to be heard through the surface ‘symptoms’. If you can recognise where you’re at, you’re halfway there — and rather than just treating the symptoms, together we listen to what’s underneath, and help you to get free from the root.

Welcome and thank you for checking out my profile. If you are experiencing feelings of grief, sadness, isolation, anxiety, depression, anger or if you are experiencing the stress of a relationship breakup or divorce, sometimes the best way to process these feelings is to work through them with a qualified counsellor. My own experience of counselling as a client has shown me the healing power of talking therapy. Also, as a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist I have seen the healing power of counselling for the many different issues I work with in my therapy practice

Offering Face to Face and Online therapy. One can present with an issue affecting their contentment in life, but what’s causing it? My approach is a Psychodynamic and Integrative one. Anxiety for example, may be a presenting issue, but what’s causing it? Depression is debilitating, but what’s being depressed? Trauma and coping mechanisms go hand in hand and are as individual as each and every one of us. An issue can be a symptom of something else, or a coping mechanism we have had for years. Through your own process, you will arrive at the root cause creating permanent change and be set free to more contentment.

As a therapist, I don't aim to 'fix' my clients. Instead, I believe they possess the innate capacity to heal and uncover their inner strength. My role is to guide them on their journey, helping them uncover the tools and resources they've been carrying within themselves. Many individuals have lost touch with their inner power, their voice, and their resilience due to trauma and other life experiences. As a therapist, I use various approaches, including art therapy, psychodynamic techniques, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to empower my clients to reclaim their voice and inner power.

I offer in-person appointments in Naas for adults & adolescents (teens 13-18). There are times in life when the pain feels too much to carry alone. You might be living with the effects of past trauma or abuse, feeling disconnected in your relationships, or struggling with grief that won’t let go. Perhaps you’re exhausted—burnt out, anxious, or overwhelmed—and wondering how you even got here. You may be facing big questions like: Who am I? Why does this hurt so much? Will it always feel this way? Whether the pain is loud or quietly lingering in the background, it can shape how you experience yourself and the world right now.

Perhaps you’ve lost yourself while caring for others, struggle to communicate, or long for deeper connection but don’t know where to begin. When you are considering if counselling is for you, I understand how anxious that this may be and I recognize that when you do decide to take this first step it requires enormous courage and strength. You are the important person in the room and therefore I do not preempt what you may wish to bring to our sessions. I will work with you to explore what ever issues you present and together we will clarify how best we can meet your needs and we will then establish how we may achieve your goals. Specialising in sex and porn addiction, CBT, relationships.
Many adults come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, overthinking, shame, addiction, or long-standing patterns they can’t seem to change. Some struggle with relationship difficulties, emotional neglect from childhood, low self-worth, or a constant sense of pressure to cope alone. Others feel stuck, burned out, numb, or disconnected from themselves. Therapy can help you make sense of what you’re feeling and begin to untangle the emotional weight you’ve been carrying.

Sex Therapy Therapists
Who is sex therapy for?
Sex problems are common in relationships. Many people want a better sex life and want to feel loved and desired by their partner. It is difficult for couples to resolve sexual problems on their own because people often feel ashamed to talk about their sexual desires fearing they are not normal, when in fact a very broad range of preferences and behaviors are normal. A sex therapist can help clarify this and other matters.

Why do people need sex therapy?
Many people do not know how to talk about their erotic needs or their emotional needs, both of which are addressed in sex therapy. Couples often live with sexual difficulties for years before seeking help, and in that time, partners may experience so much disappointment and alienation that they may fear their problems mean they are incompatible. Once people experience disappointment, it is difficult to find resolution without help.

What happens in sex therapy?
People have many misconceptions about what takes place in sex therapy. First, it is a form of talk therapy in which partners discuss their sexual concerns; it does not involve touching or physical exploration of any kind. Sex therapy typically helps couples get comfortable talking to each other about sex so that, in the privacy of their home life, they can openly discuss their sexual desires and make decisions about what they want to do. Couples are typically assigned activities to do at home that build intimacy skills.

What kinds of problems do sex therapists treat?
Very often, partners differ in their degree of sexual desire and struggle over how often to have sex. Or they may have fights about porn use or have difficulty connecting sexually after one partner is unfaithful. Men may have problems with premature ejaculation. Women may find themselves struggling to become aroused or to achieve an orgasm. Sometimes partners feel like they have lost the sense of attraction to their partner. These are all common issues dealt with in sex therapy.
