I work with my clients to help them meet life’s challenges, including depression , anxiety, anger, grief, and relationship conflicts.
My goal as your counsellor is to make you feel supported, heard, and understood as you make this important decision to invest in yourself and your future. Each of us possesses intuitive wisdom about what we want and need for a healthy and balanced life. Counselling lets us dig deep and bring that inner knowing to the surface, into our awareness. Once we know better, we can do better, working toward positive change, healing, and peace.

I have clinical experience of working therapeutically with trauma, depression , grief, relationship issues, self esteem issues, anxiety, anger management and broader life issues.
The client is always at the centre of the counselling process and their holistic psychological welfare is of utmost importance. Our counselling space is a safe environment where the beliefs and values of the client are respected and their sense of independence and growth are nurtured.Initially, I see my role as one of facilitating the individual’s exploration of their thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. My integrative training then allows me to be fluid in my approach and draw on other schools of psychotherapy as our counselling journey progresses.

Sometimes life can just feel out of kilter and we don't know why, or the weight of every day life is heavy. When we feel like this it can be helpful to have someone to talk to who is not already involved and invested in your life. I work across a spectrum of mental health concerns, but have a particular interest in trauma, grief/loss, maternal mental health (in particular crisis pregnancy and miscarriage), addiction, depression , anxiety, low-self esteem and perfectionism. I work with Nurture Health on all areas related to maternal mental health.

I offer a safe online space to explore your life and develop it further; I believe that every individual has a unique story to tell, and often life experiences and situations maybe be similar; however, for each person, the emotional impact can be different and often the cause of considerable confusion, chaotic feelings, and unhelpful thoughts. As such, I draw on the many approaches I have learned over the previous 9 years of training to meet the client's individual needs. I work from a trauma-informed approach which includes person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), humanistic, and mindfulness.

I have experience working with a broad range of needs and issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression , low self-esteem, stress and anger.
Source Counselling & Psychotherapy is founded on the belief that within you is a source of happiness, inner strength and resiliency that can enable you to deal with the pressures and struggles life can present. It is from these many sources that greater understanding of who you are emerges, a key factor in finding ways to deal with issues and problems you experience. Exploring your issues can provide you with a deeper awareness and understanding of the cause of these problems - the source. Knowing the source of a problem is only part of the work.

Some reasons you might look for counselling may be:● Depression ● Anxiety ● Panic Attacks ● Struggling with Relationships ● Confidence and Self Esteem ● Bereavement .
I implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and counselor alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results. Our therapy sessions can either be in English or in Romanian.

If you are asking yourself what is wrong with me that I feel this way?! You are formally diagnosed as the result of dysfunctional feeling, thinking, and behaving? Depression ? Personality Disorder? Eating disorder? History of toxic relationships? Panic attack, anxiety attacks? And you are asking yourself when will that end? When will that change? You can end it now and began a new journey ;) Psychotherapy is an integrative process of experiencing all your senses, emotions, thoughts, and body in a holistic context. As result, you will find your way back home to yourself.

For over a decade I have been supporting women going through various life changes and transitions. Together we carved paths through overwhelm and anger, through heartbreak and grief, through feeling stuck, through anxiety and depression . Together we found ways to transform, accept or let go of what caused frustration or pain. Each time, down the path, we discovered amazing inner strength, wisdom and creativity which allowed us to move forward with a sense of peace, integrity and empowerment. Does that sound like what YOU need to do at this time in your life?

Depression Counsellors
Depressive disorders are characterized by persistent feelings of sadness and worthlessness and a lack of desire to engage in formerly pleasurable activities. Depression is not a passing blue mood, which almost everyone experiences from time to time, but a complex mind/body illness that interferes with everyday functioning. It not only darkens one's outlook, it is commonly marked by sleep problems and changes in energy levels and appetite. It alters the structure and function of nerve cells so that it disrupts the way the brain processes information and interprets experience.

Despite feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness, depression is a treatable condition. It can be treated with psychotherapy by depression counsellors in Kilcullen. As with many illnesses, the earlier treatment begins, the more effective it can be and the greater the likelihood that recurrence can be prevented.

Psychotherapy addresses the thinking patterns that precipitate depression, and studies show that it prevents recurrence. Drug therapy is often helpful in relieving symptoms, such as severe anxiety, so that people can engage in meaningful psychotherapy.
