Many of our struggles are not signs of weakness but responses to pain, loss, and unmet emotional needs.
I specialise in addiction, trauma, emotional regulation, and recovery, with experience supporting clients through anxiety, shame, grief, and low self-worth. My approach combines empathy, honesty, and trauma-informed care, providing a safe space where clients can gain a deeper understanding of themselves, develop resilience, and move toward meaningful change.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, grief, or navigating a major life transition.
Although I work as an integrative therapist, my practice is grounded in a person-centred philosophy. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual; however, I firmly believe that every person has an inherent capacity for growth and healing. My role is to facilitate that process, offering guidance, support, and a safe, trusting relationship

Ask yourself a few questions. Are you experiencing a challenging stage in life, a conflicted state of mind, or difficulty within yourself that keeps on returning to trouble you? Are you finding relationships unfulfilling, stressful, or lonely? Do you worry about the future or are affected by the past? Do you replay everything you could have done differently but are consumed by guilt and regret? Do you spend a lot of time worrying about what other people think and how to make them happy? Maybe you are asking yourself how did my life turn out like this? It's exhausting. Isn't it?

Let me help you to navigate challenges such as stress anxiety, identity, self-image, and manage your wellbeing. Life has a way of presenting us with hurdles, and I understand the impact stress and anxiety can have firsthand. Because of certain challenges I faced personally, I discovered the transformative power of seeking support from a counsellor.

Many people come to therapy with symptoms that feel confusing or difficult to explain. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, panic, or find yourself caught in repeating patterns that you can’t seem to shift. You might feel overwhelmed or unsure why these reactions keep showing up. Often, these struggles have roots in earlier experiences or protective ways you learned to cope. Therapy offers space to understand what’s beneath the symptoms, to feel less alone with what you’re carrying, and to move toward real and lasting change.

Counselling and Psychotherapy can help with a variety of challenges - addressing difficulties in the present as well as overcoming experiences that belong to the past. A respectful and attuned therapeutic relationship I believe to be the foundation for all therapeutic work. Beside talk therapy we may use art materials to help you express yourself. Often people find that they want more life quality or that important relationships in their lives are impacted by their difficulties and want to find a way forward that feels right for them.

How long does therapy take for grief?
There is no exact timeline for grief counseling. Some people may start to feel better after just a few sessions, while others may take months or longer to feel relief. Some specific approaches, including some types of CBT, may involve a set number of sessions, or therapy may be open-ended until the patient determines they are ready to wrap up. Just as there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there is no right or wrong way to seek therapy for grief.

When should you seek therapy for grief?
Many people mistakenly believe that their grief needs to be debilitating or all-encompassing to warrant therapy. This is not the case. While people who experience severe, prolonged grief—particularly those who are considering self-harm or engaging in unhealthy substance use—are especially likely to benefit from therapy, so too are people whose grief is less intense but still interfering with well-being or daily functioning. In practice, almost anyone struggling to process a loss could benefit from grief counseling.

Can grief be managed without therapy?
Oftentimes, yes. Grief is a near-universal part of being human, and many find that their grief, while profound, does not stop them from participating in day-to-day life and steadily eases over time without outside help. For others, however, the harsh pain of early grief persists for months or years or leaves them unable to function. This group is especially likely to benefit from seeing a therapist, who can guide them through their grief and help them reconnect with the world.

What happens if grief is left untreated?
Because grief does not in itself necessitate therapy, untreated grief will often resolve on its own. However, for some people—particularly those who would qualify for a diagnosis of prolonged grief disorder—untreated grief can be a source of seemingly endless pain or lead them to withdraw from the world. In such cases, treatment can be indispensable, as it can help an individual adapt to the loss and start living again.
