I believe a strong, authentic relationship is key to change and healing.
I work with clients facing a wide range of presenting issues. Some feel stuck, caught in old, unhelpful patterns. Others grapple with anxiety, low mood, or self-doubt. Some are in emotional pain. Many appear outwardly capable, yet inwardly feel overwhelmed or in turmoil. They’re curious about how their past shapes their present and seek a space where they can truly be heard. Some have experienced trauma that affects their daily lives and relationships. They need space to explore and integrate these experiences. With all clients, I support them in understanding emotional patterns and connecting with their strength and agency.

I work with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, stress, low-mood, low self-esteem, loneliness, grief/loss, abuse, trauma, infertility, relationship difficulties, work and family issues, to name but a few.
My therapeutic approach is an integrative one, incorporating the principles of Person-Centred Therapy (a non-directive, empathic approach that empowers clients to fulfil their own potential), Psychodynamic Therapy (which explores the influence of the past on current behaviours) and also CBT, when more specific guidance is required and appropriate.

My work ranges from anxiety, depression and phobias, to relationship difficulties and daily life challenges.
Many of us find ourselves operating on 'autopilot,' repeating patterns that no longer serve us. My work is about helping you pause, identify these automatic responses, and develop the skills to consciously choose a new path. Together, we'll shift you from reactive living to proactive, intentional action.

Relationship Issues Counsellors
While the need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
