I'm a therapist who values the potential within every individual. I believe that people hold the key to their own solutions, and I'm here to help them discover their inner resilience. I focus on working with the person, not just the presenting issues, and I'm dedicated to creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space. Together, we'll explore your thoughts and feelings, using thoughtful questions and active listening to uncover your strengths and remove any self-imposed barriers. My goal is to help you on the journey to living the life you desire.

Throughout our lives we encounter situations that challenge us. Sometimes we just can't get passed them, we get stuck and cannot seem to find a solution. As a result we become anxious, stressed or even depressed. I work with clients in a non directive way through psychoanalysis, which allows the client look at their situation or problems, explore the potential causes and find a way of dealing with them. There is no 'one size fits all' solution to personal difficulties, everyone's experience is unique and the psychoanalytic approach allows the client find a solution that is individual to their situation.

Find Balance with Safe Point Therapy. Life isn't always easy. It is often a constant roller-coaster of ups and downs - with daunting highs and deadly lows. I believe it is a ride not meant to be navigated alone and endeavor to support you on your journey. Do you feel stuck? Are your cycles of unhappiness becoming longer and more intense?  Does Stress and Anxiety have you feeling overwhelmed? Perhaps you feel trapped in your relationships? Are you finding it tough to alter self-sabotaging patterns?

Is something on your mind? Perhaps something from your past that you've never fully dealt with? Counselling can help, allowing you the time to talk about what's going on for you in a non-judgemental and safe space. Working with a counsellor, you can find out your truth, have a better understanding of why you do and think the things you do, discover coping mechanisms and lighten your load. If that's something you would like to do with me then I would love to hear from you.

Well if any of this sounds familiar, get in touch, because I work with people that are fed up of feeling this way and want to change their negative opinion of themselves. ANXIETY, STRESS, OVERWHELM, PANIC. If you have difficulty with any of these or related issues such as insomnia, fears and phobias such as fear of public speaking, social anxiety, ocd, impulsiveness, or anger, maybe I can help. Do you have difficulty with emotion regulation, concentrating, staying present, do you sometimes wish you could relax, focus, be fully present, and engaged? Again, if so, maybe I can help. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is the "go to", best evidenced therapy for anxiety. Compassion-Focused approaches also have sound evidence backing them up and in my experience can be invaluable in the process of therapy.

Is life difficult right now ? Perhaps you’re feeling anxious or down ? Sometimes you may feel like you don’t really fit in ? Talking to friends and family can help. Although there may be times when they are not available, or the issue troubling you may be too personally difficult to discuss with them. Talking to someone who is independent, whom you can trust to have your best interests at heart, can be a relief ! In these situations it can help to talk to a trusted counsellor or psychotherapist.

Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or unable to focus? Are you feeling worried or having low-energy days too often? Or do you want more for your life? Please contact me today for support. I specialise in working with clients struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, or unresolved childhood issues and trauma. My approach to treatment is guided by the person who walks through the door. I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all form of therapy and the treatment will be tailored to each client's needs. I use an integrative approach that involves humanistic, psychodynamic, cbt, gestalt and inner child work to name a few.
