Welcome, Are you currently struggling with feelings of anxiety, low mood, life dissatisfaction or daily stress?
I understand how early adverse experiences in childhood or at any stage of one's life can impact the way we view the world around us. It's important to provide you a space for identifying unhelpful thoughts and core beliefs about yourself, others, and the world which are often buried deeply but can be triggered in everyday life.

This is a confidential space to understand yourself more deeply and build a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
For many of us who strive, there’s a private struggle behind the public success. It's the relentless need to 'get it right,' the feeling of being an outsider even on your own team, and the quiet fear that you're losing the very passion that got you started. My clients are athletes and high-achievers who recognize this feeling. They are looking for a way back to a performance that feels powerful, free, and most importantly, feels like them.

Life has a way of presenting us with hurdles, and I understand the impact stress and anxiety can have firsthand.
Integrative therapy is about working across therapy genres rather than subscribing to one discipline. It's a dynamic and flexible approach that draws from various modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual. What sets my practice apart is the blend of coaching psychology into my counselling approach.

This means I integrate several approaches to therapy, including exploring life experiences and relationships and how they impact on how we feel about ourselves and others, supporting clients with trauma (from childhood or adulthood), and supporting clients in their search for meaning and well-being.
Online/Telephone accredited Counsellor & Psychotherapist and member of IACP. When we have experienced trauma or difficulties in our lives, we may feel a low sense of worth, lack of belief in ourselves, or struggle in relationships with others. We may feel a lack of motivation, stress, anxiety or depression and find it difficult to cope. Therapy can help to uncover our thoughts, feelings and beliefs about ourselves and others, and how these impact on our lives. Feeling heard can support us to heal trauma, losses or painful experiences we have been through, as well as to understand ourselves better.

Nosce Te Ipsum. Therapy begins with a dialogue about what indeed brought the client into the therapeutic setting. Clients’ thoughts, feelings and experiences provide much of the fodder for a therapeutic dialogue. Much of the work in therapy involves making sense of these thoughts and emotions. The therapist educes the client’s stories; clients narrate and share them. This integrative framework provide the lens in which I listen and connect to the narratives and presenting issues of my clients. As the tempo takes its momentum, a gradual progression of humanistic kinship, trust and understanding between my client and I are entrenched.

I work with adolescents from age 13 onwards and adults across all stages of life, from young adulthood to later life.
I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. It takes courage to reach out to another. My approach supports individuals in a client-centred approach so as to: • Explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences with care • Develop self-understanding and insight • Strengthen inner resources and self-compassion.

Welcome to my site. Firstly, let me assure me that I know how much courage it took to conduct the search that brought you here … and indeed how much more it can take to make the call. As a first step it is helpful if you acknowledge that to yourself. In the years that I have been a therapist I have yet to meet a client, who committed to therapy, that didn’t get some relief, some hope that their future could be different from their past which washed them up onto the lonely beach they found themselves on. I promise you that I know your pain, your loneliness, and your anxiety. You have made it this far ... make the call …

Life Coaching Counsellors
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
