Many of the challenges we experience in adulthood have their roots in our earliest relationships. The ways we learned to connect, protect ourselves, cope with loss, and understand our place in the world can continue to influence us throughout our lives. I am particularly passionate about supporting people who are exploring the impact of attachment, family relationships, intergenerational trauma, grief and loss, and the challenges that can arise in parenting and intimate relationships. Our experiences within relationships often shape how we see ourselves, connect with others, and navigate the world around us.

My name is Éadaoin and you are very welcome to my profile page. We alI know that life can be challenging and at times we may find ourselves feeling stuck. We live in such a fast paced world it becomes all too easy to relegate our own needs to the bottom of our list of priorities. I believe that we all have the creativity within us to grow and adapt to any situation that comes our way. Sometimes we need a safe space in order to rediscover who we are, where we are and what it is that we actually want for our one and only precious life. A space to untangle and recreate the life that we want to live.

You're capable, driven, respected. But inside? There's a quiet, exhausting pressure that never switches off. Replaying conversations over and over again, second-guessing, and not trusting yourself, trying to do everything "perfectly " and being afraid of making mistakes. I help women struggling with anxiety, overthinking, and self-doubt to finally slow their thoughts, feel more in control, and experience a sense of calm and confidence. Together we can work on: • Overthinking and constant mental noise. • Anxiety or panic that feels hard to control. • Burnout from always pushing yourself. • Low self-confidence and self-doubt.

Sometimes we need a non-bias“outside” perspective to hear our own voices. As an integrative therapist I utilize approaches including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person centered, Solution focused, mindfulness etc. depending on the needs and requests of each individual. Pulling apart what may often feel like a tangled ball of wool in ones head in order to recognise, prioritize and cope with the sometimes over whelming thoughts, feeling and behaviors that present. Providing a secure, non-judgmental, confidential environment in which you can safely express your thoughts, feelings, and concerns at a rate that is comfortable to you

I believe that therapy begins with one essential ingredient: safety. Before meaningful change can happen, we need a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, without judgment or pressure. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my practice, because when trust is present, healing and growth become possible. We move gently and thoughtfully, ensuring each step feels manageable and supportive. Whether you’re exploring long-standing patterns, coping with stress, or seeking greater balance, I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you.

Contact Via WhatsApp/Email. My focuses are relationships, eating disorders, & addiction. In both our relationships with self and others, most long to experience love, belonging & growth. In relationships and in hardships, I see infinite potential for transformation and evolution: through the stuck places, the old patterns, the failed attempts to connect or feel safe. Underneath, the true you is waiting to be heard through the surface ‘symptoms’. If you can recognise where you’re at, you’re halfway there — and rather than just treating the symptoms, together we listen to what’s underneath, and help you to get free from the root.

Women's Issues Counsellors
How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.

How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realised.

How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
