I am an accredited adult, adolescent and child psychotherapist (IAHIP) based in Oughterard, Co. Galway. I work with adults, adolescents, children and parents who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck or uncertain about themselves or their relationships. Many people come to therapy when past experiences, family dynamics or current life pressures begin to feel difficult to manage. I offer a calm, supportive space where experiences can be explored at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of each person’s nervous system.
My work is relational and developmentally informed, grounded in an understanding of the nervous system. With children, I use play therapy, creative and sensory approaches, and EMDR Sandtray. With adolescents and adults, I offer integrative psychotherapy using talk therapy, EMDR and creative approaches. I am also training in Transforming Touch.
My work is informed by trauma and attachment across the lifespan. When working with children and adolescents, parent support is central, and I also offer standalone parent sessions where the child does not attend. These sessions create space to reflect on patterns, stress responses and family dynamics in a compassionate way.
