Hi there and welcome. A little about myself, I am fully registered systemic family and couples psychotherapist. I also have a background in psychology with 20 years combined experience across multiple contexts including, substance misuse and addiction, significant trauma and adversity, family and relational issues alongside resourcing individuals and families who wish to manage their situations differently. I have been highly trained in a number of evidenced based methodologies i.e. Emotion Focused Couples Therapy, Neuroscience, Mindfulness and CBT to work with individuals , adolescents, couples and families across the life cycle.
My speciality lies in creating a space where problems can be deconstructed and dissolved. One of the differences of my approach is that it can take an intergenerational lens, looking at patterns and ways of relating that have often been handed down over time through family systems. This is a powerful way of working for both individuals and couples/families.
Having worked in many different contexts, and in a number of different therapeutic roles, there is not much that I have not encountered along the way.
