I'm Clare, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
I work as a compassionate, relational, and integrative therapist. This means I draw from a range of approaches — person-centred and psychodynamic foundations, with CBT, mindfulness, attachment theory, and inner-child work woven in when helpful. Together, we choose what best supports you and the challenges you’re facing.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. You might be struggling with anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, or repeating patterns you can’t seem to change. Even if you don’t have the words yet, you may simply know something isn’t right.
My role is to offer a safe, steady space to help you slow down, understand what’s happening inside, and explore what you truly need. We work collaboratively, focusing on your present struggles while gently understanding how past experiences shape them.
