My therapeutic approach helps you to identify any issues, address your needs and plan future goals to help reduce symptoms such as negative thinking, rumination, emotional dysregulation, anxiety and low mood. I work closely with many issues in particular, Borderline Personality Disorder, (BPD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-harm, womens issues, negative thinking, OCD and many others. Each individual is different and therefore each approach is planned according to your personal needs. I also offer pre-assessment for ADHD to support individuals thinking of getting assessed formally.
I am an integraged therapist using a combination of approaches to help each individual with the best possible support. I use person-centre therapy and the integration of cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and exposure therapy. I am a DBT specialist trained in individual and group facilitation skills.
The first step to therapy is the most difficult. I acknowledge that some of you may feel nervous about starting therapy but welcome you to chat about it prior to starting sessions. This may help to put you at ease.

Groups
Emotional Regulation Group Therapy
This is a group for those with issues regulating emotions. Some of these conditions include Borderline Personality Disorder, EUPD, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD and Emotional Dysregulation Disorder to name a few. The group is face to face and includes learning coping mechanims from CBT and DBT. Each session lasts for 1hr and 30 minutes. This group is ongoing and you can join anytime.
