I specialise in helping my clients to move past obstacles in their lives, the thoughts, feelings or behaviours that are holding them back from being the most authentic version of themselves that they know they were meant to be. Travelling through life we pick up and absorb so much that does not belong to us, but we let it define us. Others perceptions of us become our own, we internalise unhelpful feelings and messages about ourselves that never belonged to us in the first place, but we all do it. If you hear it, feel it or see it often enough, it gets in. It robs us of our ability to view ourselves as we truly are.
We live our lives thinking and feeling that we are THAT person, there must be something wrong with us, as we believe in the version of ourselves that we are told. The beauty of therapy is, it can allow you a space to access and integrate your experiences, to give back what does not belong to you and to finally put down the weight of all that you're carrying.
Letting go of the opinions of others, their expectations and beliefs, frees us up to rediscover our truest selves, to be able to live authentically happy lives that move us forward towards our own goals.
