I work with people who are seeking space to better understand themselves and navigate life's challenges with support. I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ people, neurodivergent individuals, and those exploring gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity (GSRD). Additionally, I enjoy working with men around areas of emotional avoidance, masculinity, stress and family relationships. My grounding belief is that my clients are the professionals of their lives. I'm an observer and there to offer feedback, support and guidance where needed through collaboration.
I'm an integrative therapist which means that I'm trained across a number of different modalities. There is no "one size fits all" solution for therapy. Sometimes it needs to be creative and flexible. Some people need an hour to themselves to explore their world and some people need more. I work with clients to find out what works for them and what doesn't.
Being a therapist is one of the greatest joys and honours of my life. I'd often say there's no problem too big or to small or the therapy room and I really do believe that. I know what it's like to be in both chairs in the room and it's not something I ever take for granted. It can be a long winding road sometimes, but it's one worth walking down.
