I work with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, cPTSD, loss, grief, self-esteem, addiction, identity, relationships, psychosexual issues, stress, personal growth and development and coping with illness. I provide short-term counselling to those who need support to get through a particular event or time in their lives and longer term psychotherapy to those wishing to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships with others. I adopt a Person-Centred approach and provide an empathic, caring and confidential environment to enable individuals to speak about their situations and difficulties.
As an integrative psychotherapist my experience and training includes working with a range of approaches including Rogerian, Psychodynamic, CBT, Gestalt and Psychosynthesis. I am Somatic Experiencing trained for working with trauma. This enables me to work in a way that best suits the needs of each individual person that I meet.
Iam moved when connected to people, I am deeply touched in the process of sharing and I recognise the courage it takes to be in relationship with others. I draw upon my own personal experience and journey in combination with my experience and training to help me provide guidance and support to individuals as they explore their lives.
