By looking at the emotional needs and wants I help clients to really understand the complexity of what is underneath the emotions they experience. We can present with a symptom like emotion such as fear, anger or people pleasing. However, when we fully understand where this comes from we become more aware, and with awareness, we then have the ability to make choices on how we want to proceed.
I will adapt my approach to your needs so we can work together to help you reach your goals. I work with adolescents from 12 years + , adults & couples. My areas of interest are personal development, sexual development and relational difficulties. I have worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, dysphoria's , identity & many more area's.
I always advise people to meet with a few therapists, get a feel for the people and then make a decision. It is so important that you feel comfortable with the person, as that relationship is key to helping you explore those vulnerable parts of yourself. I ask people to take a few days after the 1st session to see how they feel it went.
