Welcome to my profile, I'm Michelle Flynn, Perinatal Psychotherapist and founder of An Croí Beag Psychotherapy. I enjoy working with a wide range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and trauma. As a mum of three myself I have a particular interest working with perinatal mental health, postnatal depression, reproductive trauma and anxiety. I have extensive experience working with parents on all aspects of parenthood and relationships. Alongside my private practice I work for a national organisation providing Psychotherapy to survivors of sexual trauma.
I am a trauma informed Psychotherapist meaning I recognise the impact of experiences that threaten a person's felt sense of safety. I am mindful of this in every aspect of my work with clients. Most regularly I work with- Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, reproductive trauma and relationships.
Normally I meet my clients for an initial assessment session. This is an opportunity for you to meet with me and get a sense of whether I am the right therapist to support you. In this session I will also go through our agreement form and I will ask you some questions related to your history, experiences and goals for therapy.
