Dr. Alistair McBride has an integrative and existential approach to counselling and psychotherapy. I see life’s challenges—such as anxiety, suffering, trauma, and conflict—not merely as symptoms to eliminate, but as invitations to explore deeper meaning. Blending Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and CBT techniques, my practice is rooted in Existential Therapy, which encourages living authentically, embracing uncertainty, and connecting with what matters.
I draw on a background in medicine, neuroscience, and philosophy to help people live more authentically — including those managing illness, navigating neurodiversity, or healing from trauma. The aim isn’t to “fix” you, but to help you understand yourself more deeply and live with greater awareness, compassion, and freedom. Not broken, but human.
