If you have experienced trauma, or have had difficulties in your life you would like to to work through, I can support you to heal and feel better in your daily life. Using Integrative and Somatic Experiencing TM approaches, I can help you to connect to life and living, to others and the world around you, some of the things we lose connection to when we have experienced trauma. Symptoms such as anxiety, depression, physical health issues, people pleasing behaviours, and feeling disconnected are some of the issues that are recognised and worked through from this approach.
Here you will not be expected to delve straight into the most difficult stories in your life. With a main focus initially on building your connection to what supports you and what is working for you in your life, we will then slowly work through difficult, emotional, psychological and physical symptoms to increase your capacity to cope with stressors.
Reaching out for counselling can be very difficult. At the core of my work is compassion and clients right to chose what they wish to do. I can offer a free phone call to talk about what you need and my approach to help you make a decision about what feels right for you. I will continue to invite choice and autonomy throughout our time working together.
