Hi, I'm Aimee. I'm a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist and an accredited member of IACP. I am a therapist who offers honesty, empathy, acceptance, congruence, and many more. Having experienced a wide range of issues such as anxiety, addiction, self-esteem, bereavement, depression, relationships, stress, suicide intervention, sexual issues, sexual assaults, and more. I offer a therapeutic counseling approach tailored to the individual needs of the client.
My aim is to unlock the client's power from within and empower them to grow, recognising their own abilities, skills, and resources. Also teaching the client coping mechanisms within their life.
The most important thing to me is that the client feels safe in the room be it online or face to face. Once the client feels safe that enables the relationship to be established thus facilitating growth for the client. We as humans are relational beings and the relationship is a good basis for the beginning of healing.
