Welcome. I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, qualified to work with both Adults and Adolescents. My previous career as a critical care nurse supports my work in this area as it broadens my understanding of the many needs of my client. Difficulties and distress can arise in anyone's life at any time. Even with the support of family and friends, it may still be difficult to cope and function effectively. Sometimes it may be easier to talk with an independent person. In therapy I can offer a safe, secure and empathic environment.

I provide support for a variety of mental health concerns. I have many years of experience working in helping professions, particularly with young adults and teenagers. I have supported people suffering from depression and anxiety, as well as victims of abuse, neglect, and sexual assault. I have worked with people with identity problems, self-esteem and confidence issues; always offering the values of respect, acceptance, understanding and compassion. I am a fully trained pre-accredited Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist based in Wexford Town. I work with adults presenting a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, compulsions, relationship issues, trauma, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, eating disorders, self-defeating behaviours. Whatever difficulty you are experiencing, I will offer a safe, confidencial, and non-judgemental space where to gain a deep understanding of yourself and your psychical life. Through this exploration we will look at the roots of your current struggles and increase your ability to find new ways of dealing with your difficulty.

Providing care, support, safeguarding, guidance and advocacy often in times of crisis and emergency. I have supported victims of abuse, neglect, sexual assault, domestic violence, marginalization, discrimination and chronic illnesses. I am a fully accredited psychotherapist working with adults and couples in private practice for over 15 years. I work within an integrative approach to psychotherapy and use a unique blend of talking therapy, breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation tools to help my clients regain emotional balance & resilience, build self-confidence and create thriving relationships. I'm passionate about providing them with a safe space, where they feel held and supported & can better understand and let go of unhealthy and limiting patterns and start to discover their true strengths and more authentic ways of showing up in the world.
