Pre-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with a Bsc (Hons) in psychology and an MA (Hons) in Person-Centered Therapy. As a PCT therapist I aim to empower my clients to become the masters of their own destiny by encouraging them to choose the goals and direction of their treatment. My clients are treated as the truly unique individuals that they are and as such my sessions are catered specifically to the needs of each individual and their situation. As a client of mine you will be treated as an expert on yourself while we work together as equal teammates on the psychological goals and mental health outcomes outlined by you.
PCT is the foundational basis of my therapeutic approach but over time I have incorporated various frameworks and techniques from other disciplines such as CBT and DBT into my therapeutic repertoire which greatly diversified the support that I can provide dependent upon the needs and desires of you. More importantly than approach though is human connection.
Building a strong human connection with my clients that by itself can have a profound healing effect is what I excel at. To do this, I create a non-judgmental safe space in which you can truly be yourself while I sincerely empathize with you regardless of your circumstances.
