I am well aware that life can be a struggle when trying to deal with anxiety, depression, profound sadness, grief, relationship issues, emotional upheavals, stress, long standing hurt or deeply embedded trauma. Sometimes it’s about self exploration. I offer a warm, safe, welcoming and non judgmental space where clients can come and examine how they see themselves in their world; explore unhelpful behavioral patterns and look at how they are in relationship to others and themselves. At all times in the Counselling space, I work from my heart; from a place of compassion and love, with genuine acceptance of the client just as they are

“Overactive” busy minds have difficulty slowing down. I see it everyday. Having genes for a mental illness does not guarantee having one. Exposure to traumas is also needed to cause a disturbance in transmitters and hormones in the body. I help a person when they are looking for help in reducing psychiatric medications or before taking them. My experience involves helping a person process their traumas to heal them emotionally. In Walsh protocol , food supplements are prescribed instead of psychotropic medications that participate in hormonal and neurotransmitter metabolism. I can speak English, Hindi/ Urdu and Punjabi.

Heal Your Nervous-System • Feeling stressed, anxious or stuck in negative patterns? I help clients process experiences, heal from trauma, and build lasting resilience. Using a mind-body approach primarily through EMDR but also including IFS, mindfulness, attachment-focused therapy, somatic, and breathwork - we address how stress and emotional dysregulation can show up as anxiety, relationship struggles, fatigue, low self-esteem, digestive issues, muscle tension, headaches, and more. Together, we develop tools for regulation, deepen self-awareness, and move toward greater health and connection with yourself and others.

I’m an ADHDer. I know what it’s like to feel like the world wasn’t quite built for your brain or nervous system!
I work with people who’ve spent years wondering why everything feels harder than it should. Those newly diagnosed, late-diagnosed, or those suspecting they might be neurodivergent and wanting space to explore that. You are all very welcome.
Life has a way of pulling the rug out. Perimenopause. A new baby. Starting college and losing all structure overnight. These can be the turning point moments an ADHD brain finally says “enough.”
If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

Sandra strives to create a therapeutic environment grounded in empathy while clients embark on their journey of self-exploration and personal growth. Her approach to psychotherapy is rooted in the integration of person-centred and psychoanalytic approaches. She is mindful that each client is unique and tailors her therapeutic approach accordingly by incorporating, for example, CBT, Schema therapy and somatic techniques. So often with symptoms of anxiety and depression, vagus nerve dysregulation is an unseen enemy and Sandra uses the principles of polyvagal theory to help clients become more grounded and centred in the body.
