Janneke M. Schokkenbroek, Ph.D.

Janneke M. Schokkenbroek, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher at the AI Futures Lab, Delft University of Technology, and Inholland University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Her research explores the complexities of (harmful) technology use across the initiation, maintenance, and dissolution of romantic relationships. She has written articles on a range of topics, including sexting, catfishing, partner phubbing, electronic partner surveillance, online infidelity, and ghosting. She earned her Ph.D. in Communication Science and Criminology.
