Cortland Dahl, Ph.D., is a scientist at the Center for Healthy Minds, University of Wisconsin–Madison, and the author of A Meditator’s Guide to Buddhism: The Path of Awareness, Compassion, and Wisdom. He is involved in evidence-based research on meditation and human flourishing and is also the chief contemplative scientist at the center’s affiliated non-profit, Healthy Minds Innovations. Dahl is also the co-founder and executive director of Tergar International, a global network of meditation groups and centers, and the creator of the acclaimed Healthy Minds Program app, with more than 1 million downloads.
