Many of us who sacrificed the chance to have a good career in order to raise children end up pretty angry and depressed at the lousy jobs we must take later on. Regardless of our education or abilities - even those of us who are highly technically competent - end up severely underemployed, dependent on marriages we might prefer to be done with, and working much longer than men. It stinks to be stuck!
