I work with individuals and couples, and am a sex therapy-informed counselor, meaning I am comfortable working with issues that are often difficult to discuss. My goal is to help people find their meaning and joy in life, addressing areas of difficulty that include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, divorce, and grief. I love working with couples to help them reconnect, better communicate and work towards mutual life goals. As a mother to two tween daughters, I am interested in helping families find the balance to help foster their children’s academic success along with their social and emotional well-being.
I have a Master of Counselling (Monash), a Master of Developmental Psychology (Teacher’s College, Columbia University), and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology/Comm; Central Connecticut State University). I am a member of the Hong Kong Society of Counselling and Psychology. I am a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional.
Originally from the United States, I’m proud to be a Hong Kong resident since 2010. I studied psychology at university and post-graduate. A series of critical life events in 2020/21, including breast cancer treatment and survivorship, resulted in several “light bulb moments” that led me back to psychology and counselling.
