Trauma Focused Support Groups in Glasgow

Vaginismus and pelvic pain can be quite an isolating and confusing condition. I've created an online group therapy space for those who want to feel less alone, being both supported by me, your therapist, as well as others in the group going through a similar experience. Therapy will be a space to hopefully ease your pain, physical and emotional via psychosexual tools, psycho-education and community. Group will run on Thursdays, 2pm for 90 minutes at £40, hopefully starting late September. Please do get in touch so we can chat further!

As a trans nonbinary person, I know what it feels like to feel alone in a world that doesn't accept us. I'm creating a group therapy space for those who are seeking both support and community. If you identify under the trans umbrella, you are welcome. This will be a trauma informed, diversity inclusive space where you hopefully feel safe enough to be your true self, without having to explain anything and without judgement. Your stories and experiences are welcome, as well as your questions and troubles. Please do reach out to speak further!

A group for therapists who value neurodiversity in clients, or themselves, or who want to learn about neurodiversity. The neurodiversity paradigm views conditions such as autism & attention deficits as naturally occurring variants in human neurology. Neurodiversity de-stigmatizes & de-pathologizes cognitive differences. Instead of seeking to make someone more ‘normal,’ neurodiversity affirming therapists are accepting of differences, & support helping people know & understand themselves, communicate their needs, & self-advocate. Aims are: to educate, spread awareness of neurodiversity, air & challenge problematic views, counter ableism, support neurodivergent voices, network, collaborate, share referrals, support each other, & to promote the neurodiversity paradigm within psychological services.

Perhaps you’ve spent years being told your blood tests are normal. Perhaps you’ve been told the pain is “just part of being a woman.” Perhaps you’ve started doubting your body, your instincts, or your own experience. You may finally have a diagnosis, or still be fighting to be heard. Wherever you are in that journey, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer counselling for people living with chronic illness and the groups are held nationwide online in the UK. Intimate group of 4-6 online for 6 week blocks.
