Maybe you’re successful on the outside, but inside, you’re questioning who you really are. Life transitions—whether in love, career, identity, or self-worth—can leave you feeling unsteady, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. You might be struggling to trust yourself, to find your voice, or to show up fully in your relationships. Deep down, you know there’s more for you—more depth, more love, more truth—but something keeps holding you back.
Group therapy offers a safe, therapeutic place to speak about yourself, your family and other relationships. Conflicts and worries can be explored with others who are going through similar issues. Groups of up to 8 members meet once or twice a week in a safe and confidential space. Each session lasts 90 minutes. Before joining the group, you will meet several times with me. This type of therapy is especially recommended for those who are having problems in relationships with others, feel isolated, depressed or suffer from social anxiety.

I work with individuals and groups in private practice. I offer a containing, open and non-judgemental space where individuals and group members feel able to bring their thoughts and feelings in a confidential and secure environment. In my practice I see people from all kinds of backgrounds and different circumstances who suffer from depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, problems with self-esteem, feelings of loneliness or social isolation, stress at work and more. I offer short and long term psychotherapy. I am also available for online sessions.

Choosing a therapist can be a stressful process, and it's difficult to decide which kind of therapy to try. Many people find it helpful to work with a therapist who has trained in more than one therapy, who can switch to a different therapy when needed, and who can tailor sessions according to your needs. You can have a phone consultation with me to discuss what you are looking for and ask questions. 16 years experience in supporting neurodivergent clients (with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia or other difficulties) led me to further training in autism, and specialised CBT and ACT for ADHD and emotional regulation problems.
MBT treatment is relevant if you have experienced any of the following: 1) difficulties regulating intense emotions that lead you to behaving in ways you don't understand, 2) chaotic relationships where you either frantically pursue or impulsively cut the other person off, 3) enormous fear of abandonment and trying to avoid it at all costs, 4) impulsive urges that make your life unbearable or lead to feelings of self-hate, 5) episodes of extreme emotional pain and attempts to stop it with self-harm, alcohol, drugs or sex, 6) rapidly changing moods for no apparent reason.

Struggling with intense emotions or feeling overwhelmed by sensitivity? We specialise in working with people who experience emotional intensity, impulsivity, and relationship struggles—helping them build resilience, balance, and deeper self-understanding. Our intensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) programme is designed to equip you with practical skills to manage overwhelming emotions, impulsive behaviours, and patterns that no longer serve you. If you feel that your emotions often take over, this structured, evidence-based approach can help you regain control and build a more stable, fulfilling life.
An EDI-focused reflective practice group for psychologists who want to address gaps in their knowledge, and meet the HCPC’s 2023 Standards of Proficiency in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion. Sessions are useful for psychologists needing more time to discuss themes in their clinical work relating to LGBTQ+ clients, clients of different nationalities, or a different cultural background to their own, protected characteristics, socially-isolated groups, and intersectional experiences. Sessions are £40 per person. I completed training in clinical supervision in 2011, and also a BPS-approved course in clinical supervision which gives eligibility to join the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Clinical Supervisors (RAPPS).

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is one of the most researched treatments for people with difficulties in regulating their emotions. It was originally developed by Dr Marsha Linehan for self-harming individuals who met criteria for borderline personality disorder (BPD). DBT was proven effective in reducing suicidal behaviour, self-injury, impulsivity, disruptions to personal relationships and improving social functioning, eating and mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, childhood sexual abuse and substance dependency, and is now the go-to treatment for improving emotional regulation skills in those diagnosed with ADHD or ADD.

DBT London's free pre-commitment group is designed to prepare individuals for their journey of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This group introduces participants to the fundamental principles of DBT, including mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. It offers a unique opportunity for individuals to understand the commitment required for DBT, setting a foundation for their therapeutic journey. Participants benefit from early exposure to coping strategies, and a supportive community of peers with shared experiences. This preparatory stage enhances motivation, ensures informed commitment to therapy, and improves the likelihood of successful outcomes in managing emotional and behavioral challenges.
