Kathryn H. Gordon

Dr. Kathryn H. Gordon is a licensed clinical psychologist in North Dakota. She was a professor for 10 years before leaving academia to become a therapist. Dr. Gordon has published over 90 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on eating disorders, suicidal behavior, and other mental health-related topics. She was recognized as an Inspiring Teacher for her classes in psychopathology, empirically-supported therapy, and cultural diversity. Dr. Gordon is passionate about sharing accurate mental health information with the public through writing, podcasts, and speaking engagements. She is writing The Suicidal Thoughts Workbook: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Skills to Reduce Emotional Pain, Increase Hope, and Prevent Suicide for New Harbinger.
