Jim Gordon

Jim Gordon has a master’s degree in Gerontology, a BS in Aging Services, teaches laughter yoga, is a Hospice volunteer, has a certificate in adult and family mediation, and a certificate as an aging-in-place specialist.

In 2014, he co-founded Edible Independence (www.edibleindependence.com) a Hudson Valley company to provide dinners for seniors and persons with illnesses living at home.

Jim has broad experience presenting ideas in public during a 25-year media career based in the Hudson Valley, largely as a print journalist, but with extensive live television and radio experience as commentator and presenter. He is working on a documentary on laughter.

He is the past president of SageArts (www.Sagearts.org) a non-profit senior arts organization.

Jim is married with one adult child and two grandchildren. He and his wife, Amy Kletter, live in New Paltz, New York. His website is www.laughingataging.com.
