Some days it can feel a bit too much. Do you exhaust yourself trying to cope with whatever life throws at you? Even when you feel worn out, close to boiling point or increasingly flat inside? You may feel a need to show yourself strong and capable even when you don’t feel like that. You might treat others a lot better than yourself. This is likely to place a huge toll on your mind and body; perhaps even on the very relationships you put so much into. You can learn to carry less of life's burdens by yourself and get more out of your precious time. What dreams have you given up on? What would you do if you could?
We will dig into thoughts of having to ‘just cope’, look at what led you here then make meaningful changes. My approach is integrative so I can find ways that help YOU. Having trained in person-centred and psychodynamic therapies, I added CBT and mindfulness skills, and a focus on compassion. I sit in your corner with gentle support, and ready to listen.
However rewarding, choosing a therapist can feel daunting. I offer a free introductory 15-minute session so that you can have a feel for what it may be like to work with me. I offer therapy via Zoom, a secure and convenient online platform. Online therapy is as effective as in-person. It is easier without travel and in the comfort of your own home.

Urticaria/Hives Mental Health Support Group

An online support group to help cope with the challenging condition of chronic urticaria, also known as hives. I have lived experience, diagnosed 3 years ago. I am now largely in remission with only occasional mild outbreaks. Triggers and management vary, which we can discuss, but the group isn't medical. I offer mental health support and coping skills to manage the stress, anxiety and depression it can bring. Knowledge and support can help you live a better life, plus reducing stress and other mind-body distress can reduce debilitating symptoms. The group will meet online at an agreed time.
