In life we will be faced with difficulties, loss and pain. You may be feeling unable to cope with these things alone. Something has made you search for help and that is a big step. I offer therapy as a safe and holding space for you to offload or explore without being judged or criticised. I am trained as an integrative therapist and draw from a range of different therapeutic theories, from attachment theory to trauma work and the effects trauma can have on the body. I’m aware that, sometimes, we can’t find the words to explain or express our feelings and so, if this happens, I will also offer you the option to work creatively.
For over eight years, I have been working as a counsellor with adults of different religion, race, age, gender and with people from LGBTQ+ communities. I have experience working with trauma (including childhood trauma), anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship breakdowns, parenting issues, as well as clients who feel lost and want to feel present.
I will be here to support you on your journey of self-exploration and healing with compassion, empathy and care. I offer a safe space for you to face your memories, emotions and challenges at your own pace.
