Hi, I'm Zia, welcome to my counselling page. Are you feeling unhappy or confused, trying to navigate difficult feelings and experiences or are looking for ways to improve your quality of life and sense of well-being? I am a person-centered psycho-spiritual counsellor, who will listen to you attentively with warmth, kindness and compassion, providing a safe, non-judgmental space, supporting you to share and explore your feelings, to live a happier and more fulfilling life.
I offer a person-centred, psycho-spiritual approach. I also have a special interest in the creative arts. As someone who recognises the healing power of the natural world, I offer sessions outdoors. I am also inspired by the work of Carl Jung, especially his work with dreams. I have experience working with people who are neurodiverse and LGBTQ+.
I have been told by my clients that I have a calm, caring presence, helping to put them at ease, and that they feel truly supported and listened to. It is my belief that the quality of the relationship between the counsellor and client is the most important factor for healing to take place, which needs to be built on trust, safety and authenticity.
