About
We ALL have difficulties of one kind or another throughout our lives… some things are easier to deal with than others and many of us could do with a trusting, non-judgemental relationship with a caring professional who can enable, guide, and support you through such difficult times. Therapy will give you the opportunity to be heard, to reflect, question, process, analyse, and heal, allowing for change(s) in your inner and outer world. I am a compassionate and empathic Counsellor with a down to earth approach and here to assist you on the journey- whether short or long-term. I embrace the ‘Integrative approach’ to therapy, meaning
I draw on a range of therapeutic techniques & modalities to suit the individual. As a therapist that has worked both within private practice, Samaritans & with NHS referrals via Mind (M.H Charity- IAPT service) for many years I have a wide range of experience in working with adults from all walks of life, from a wide variety of backgrounds and with a range
of issues including (but not solely): Bereavement, Loss, Anxiety, Depression, Low Self-Esteem/ Confidence, Relationship & Family issues, Trauma, Abuse, problems at work etc. Whatever the issue, we can work together in exploring your current situation in a safe, non-directive, confidential way in helping you to move forwards.
