I am an experienced BACP registered Psychodynamic Counsellor. My approach is warm, grounded and compassionate. I aim to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel able to talk openly and share your difficulties, without judgement, at a pace that is right for you.
I work with a range of issues including but not limited to: trauma, depression, disordered eating, abuse, anxiety and low self-esteem. Whatever brings you to therapy, I offer a space to think, feel and explore what may be going on and to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself which will enable you to move forward with your life.
I work psychodynamically, exploring underlying patterns and behaviours that may be manifesting as low self-esteem, low mood, or difficulties in relationships. Together, we look beneath the surface of current concerns to develop deeper self-awareness and an understanding of how past relationships can shape the way we feel about ourselves.
I believe that meaningful change happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship. My work is based on integrity and compassion and we will work with whatever you choose to bring to therapy.
