Hello, my name is Yvonne, welcome to web-page (I work both in Reading, Berkshire and Kensington, London. You may be wondering if my approach might be right for you. I have been described as warm, friendly and non-judgmental. I have over 23 years of experience working with adults from a diverse range of backgrounds. I have worked across the NHS, charity, and private sector. I have specialist expertise in work-related issues. Further to my experience in this area, I have extensive experience of working in private practice. I work with adults of all ages that have experienced early childhood trauma amongst other issues.
I also work with undergraduate and postgraduate students in the UK and abroad. Lastly in more recent years, I have worked with trainee psychotherapists. I offer both Long term therapy and Short-Term therapy. Whilst Long term involves an in-depth exploration of personality and the roots of distress, short term involves a focus on one or two issues.
I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Solution Focused Counselor with additional training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have over 20 years of experience working with adults.
